My Story

A little about me—Jasmin. I’ve been a hairdresser for 25 years, a former salon owner, and a hypnotherapist for the last five. When I began working with other hairdressers and their belief systems, I noticed a recurring pattern that I recognised in myself:

So many were holding themselves back, not because they weren’t good enough—but because of how social media made them feel.

The comparison. The constant stream of other people’s success. The feeling that they were always behind, or not doing enough.

That’s what led me here.

I remember, I was using my screen between clients to wind down, numb out, or distract myself—especially during a period of separation from both a partner and a business. My phone was with me between work, parenting… basically every spare second I had.

But instead of helping, it made me feel more scattered, overstimulated, and disconnected from myself.

I created Digital Intentions first, to explore how scrolling puts us in a state of screen hypnosis—where envy, criticism, and self-doubt get quietly absorbed into our subconscious beliefs. But beneath those reactions lies wisdom—peeks into your creativity and authenticity trying to break through. You might be surprised how often your creativity has been shaped by what you’ve seen—not what you’ve felt. When you’re immersed in everyone else’s world, your own ideas don’t get the space to fully form. They get interrupted. Shaped. Rushed. What feels like frustration or comparison is often a spark—your inner self reaching for clarity, truth, and expression.
