Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take?
Each Rapid Transformational Therapy session typically lasts between 90 minutes to 2 hours. This duration allows sufficient time to explore and address the underlying issues effectively. It’s essential to allocate a full 2 hours in your schedule to ensure a relaxed and thorough session without feeling rushed and to ease back into your day or night.
What does it feel like?
The experience of RTT varies from person to person. Some individuals may experience sensations like floating or deep relaxation, while others may feel a sense of lightness or calm. It's important to note that the way you feel during the session does not determine its effectiveness. Whether you feel deeply relaxed or not, RTT is designed to create positive changes in your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours.
Can I get brainwashed or controlled hypnosis?
No, you cannot get brainwashed or controlled hypnosis during an RTT session. You have full control over your actions and responses throughout the process. You can speak, move your body, or even end the session if necessary. In the unlikely event of a disconnection during an online session, you might drift into a natural sleep-like state temporarily. However, you will naturally become aware and open your eyes when you notice the absence of the therapist's voice.
How does it work?
RTT utilizes hypnosis, which is grounded in neuroscience rather than mystical or magical concepts. During hypnosis, specific brain wave patterns similar to those in REM sleep and deep meditation are induced. This allows direct access to the subconscious mind, where deep-seated beliefs and emotions reside. By identifying and reframing these beliefs, RTT helps to facilitate profound and lasting changes in thoughts, behaviours, and emotional responses.
What if I don’t “go deep” enough?
The depth of hypnosis achieved during an RTT session does not determine its effectiveness. It's common for individuals to experience varying levels of depth during different sessions, and this variability does not impact the therapeutic outcomes. Instead of focusing on how deep you go, trust in the process and tell yourself to stay curious and wonder what insights are going to come to me.
What if I think I already know the reasons behind my issue?
One of the unique aspects of RTT is its ability to uncover deeper insights and perspectives on issues that may already seem understood. Even if you believe you know the reasons behind your challenges, RTT can reveal new layers of understanding and meaning. This fresh perspective often leads to profound shifts in beliefs and behaviors, ultimately fostering healing and personal growth. It is common for people to be surprised what comes up when they think they know what it is.
What if I go back to scenes that are painful or scary?
During an RTT session, it's possible to revisit past experiences that evoke emotions such as sadness, fear, or anger. It's important to remember that you are not reliving those experiences but rather observing them from a safe and empowered perspective. Jasmin Lethbridge provides a supportive environment where you can express your emotions freely and heal from past traumas. You are always in control of your thoughts and actions during the session, ensuring a safe and constructive therapeutic process. You also have the option to answer what feels comfortable.
When will I start to see changes?
The effects of RTT can manifest in different ways and at different times for each individual:
Immediate Changes: Some clients experience noticeable shifts in their thoughts, emotions, or behaviors immediately during or shortly after the session.
Incremental Changes: For others, the changes may unfold gradually over days, weeks, or months as they integrate new insights and behaviors into their daily lives.
Retroactive Changes: Occasionally, clients may not perceive immediate changes but later reflect on significant shifts in their mindset, habits, or life circumstances. These retrospective realizations often highlight the profound and enduring impact of RTT on personal transformation.
It is an essential part of the process to listen to your personalised recording for 21-28 days following the session to rewire the subconscious beliefs.
What if I need or want another session?
RTT is designed to provide powerful breakthroughs and create substantial changes in your life. Depending on the complexity and depth of the issues you're addressing, you may benefit from multiple RTT sessions. Some clients choose to continue with additional sessions to further explore different aspects of their lives, reinforce positive changes, and receive ongoing coaching and support from Jasmin Lethbridge.
